FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT FOR PASSENGERS?

We welcome all ages aboard the Bentley and the Cruiser. If any passengers are under 18 years of age, they must be accompanied by a legal guardian. All passengers under the age of 6 are required by law to wear a lifejacket while on board. We provide all safety equipment required by the US Coast Guard. We highly recommend bringing your own personal lifejackets for children under the age of 6. Our lifejackets may not be comfortable for them to wear all day.

WHERE DOES THE TRIP BEGIN & END?

We will deliver the pontoon to the lake of your choice: Indian Lake, Magician Lake, Dewey Lake, Big and Little Crooked, Paw Paw and Little Paw Paw Lake, Van Auken Lake, Keeler Lake, Barron Lake, Lake of the Woods, Eagle Lake in Paw Paw MI, Eagle Lake in Edwardsburg MI, Juno Lake, Diamond Lake, Donnell Lake, and Fish Lake chain in Marcellus. WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Many of our customers bring a cooler of any snacks or drinks to enjoy during the trip. We recommend bringing insect repellant and protective clothing/sunscreen. If you are planning to fish, bring your Michigan Fishing License if aged 16+. The driver of the boat must have a valid drivers license. We highly recommend bringing lifejackets for the little ones, we supply them, but they may not be as comfortable as their own.

CAN I HAVE ALCOHOL ON THE BOAT?

Alcohol is allowed on the Bentley and the Cruiser. You must be 21+ to consume alcoholic beverages.

WHAT ITEMS ARE RESTRICTED?

We do not allow glass items on the boat.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?

In the case of inclement weather, forcing Lakeview Marine Services to cancel a rental, we will issue the guest a voucher so they can reschedule for a different date.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

We will provide a full refund for cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled activity. We will issue a 50% refund for cancellations made less than 72 hours and more than 24 hours ahead of the scheduled rental time. No refund will be given for cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the requested scheduled time. In the case of inclement weather, forcing Lakeview Marine Services to cancel a rental, we will issue the guest a voucher so they can reschedule for a different date.

All trip changes/cancellations must be communicated through emailing lakeviewmarineservices@gmail.com to receive your booking credit.
